The growth of social media followers often shows a rapid and non-linear pattern, especially during the virality phase. This study aims to analyze the pattern of follower growth using two mathematical approaches, namely the exponential and logistic models. Data were obtained from the number of daily followers for nine days after the viral content was uploaded. The results of the analysis show that the exponential model is suitable for describing the early phase of virality with an R² of 0.9927, while the logistic model provides a more realistic and accurate picture of the entire growth process with an R² of 0.9768. The conclusion of this study shows that the logistic model is more appropriate for modeling the growth of social media followers in real conditions.
