Problematika Siswa Pada Pembelajaran Matematika dalam Memecahkan Masalah Matematika di SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli

Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal yang dilakukan di SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli, siswa kelas XI-TAV mengalami problematika dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas dan kurangnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui problematika apa saja yang dihadapi oleh siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika, kemudian faktor penyebab dari problematika dan solusi alternatif dari permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari observasi, wawancara, soal tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan keberagaman hasil kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika yang dimiliki oleh tiap Siswa. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas XI-TAV SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli dikategorikan rendah karena tidak mencapai standar nilai KKM yang telah ditetapkan. Terlihat pada rata-rata hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika yaitu 34,85. Beberapa siswa mampu menyelesaikan masalah matematika tetapi langkah-langkah yang digunakan kurang tepat. Sementara sebagian lainnya masih memerlukan perbaikan dalam hal penyelesaian masalah dan ketelitian dalam mengaplikasikan konsep secara efektif. Dari hasil penelitian di atas, maka dapat diketahui permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika, faktor penyebab problematika siswa dan solusi alternatif dari problematika yang dihadapi siswa.
