Numerical Methods is a course that requires algorithmic and systematic thinking skills in solving problems so that computational thinking skills are needed in solving the problems. The purpose of this study is to analyze students' computational thinking skills in solving linear equation systems (SPL) problems in terms of learning achievement. This research is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at the Mathematics Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Makassar State University in the even semester of 2024/2025. The subjects in this study were students of the Mathematics Department consisting of 3 people, namely students who met the criteria for high, medium and low learning achievement. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling by setting criteria for selecting research subjects. Data were collected through written tests and interviews. As well as data analysis techniques used qualitatively by collecting data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results obtained in the study were that students with high learning achievement were able to demonstrate the four aspects of computational thinking well. Students with moderate learning achievement actually show several aspects of computational thinking such as in the decomposition, abstraction and algorithm design stages. But in the pattern recognition aspect, students do not know the right pattern so the answer is wrong. Meanwhile, students with low learning achievement show computational thinking skills in the decomposition and pattern recognition aspects, but are unable to execute well in the abstraction and algorithm design stages so they are unable to solve problems.
