This study aims to design an Android-based learning media on the classification of vertebrate animals at UPT SMPN 5 Satap Malangke. The research method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This learning media was created using Adobe Animate software. The issue in this study is the method in which teachers present the material, which is still limited to conventional teaching followed by completing the given exercises. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop Android-based learning media on the classification of vertebrate animals at UPT SMPN 5 Satap Malangke. The results showed that testing the application system using Black Box testing revealed a very good rating and passed the test criteria. Furthermore, the application of the vertebrate animal classification learning media in the science subject obtained a score of 4 from the content experts and an average of 3 from the media experts, indicating that it is suitable for use.
