Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) systems are susceptible to saturation due to ambient light interference. Conventional mitigation using passive optical filters has a disadvantage, namely the appearance of blind spots due to variations in the orientation of the angle of light. This study proposes a paradigm shift from optical filtering to active electrical filtering by designing and quantifying the resistance limits of Analog Front-End (AFE). The circuit consisting of the LT1028 Transimpedance Amplifier (TIA) and the second-order Sallen-Key Active High-Pass Filter (HPF) was tested using the LTspice simulation. To represent the factual conditions, the circuit was injected with solar DC current up to the clipping limit, the harmonics of the fluorescent lamp AC (50 Hz, 100 Hz, 150 Hz), and the operating temperature base (25°C - 75°C). The simulation results showed that the HPF successfully suppressed low-frequency harmonic fluctuations of up to 53.5 dB, prevented baseline DC shifts due to thermal saturation, and provided a signal-to-noise (SNR) ratio of 43.8 dB. This AFE architecture can recover 10 kHz On-Off Keying data signals independently of the direction of the source of optical interference.
